AFRICA Day is a flagship initiative of the French-African Foundation, co-organized with Sciences Po Paris. Now an annual event, it celebrates African excellence and the shared achievements of Africa and France. It offers a unique platform to connect leading African and French figures with students from international campuses across France.
The inaugural edition of AFRICA Day took place on October 3, 2024, bringing together 1,500 participants and 64 speakers, and featuring more than 20 conferences and roundtables. This landmark event marked the beginning of a strong and lasting commitment to showcasing talent, bold ideas, and the dynamic transformations shaping the African continent.
